Well I believe the post has officially been taken over and has moved on to another conversation I have started the dispute process with my credit card company.
I hope you get your $ back! This site seems to have been cut adrift . . . like one of those trawler nets that floats the oceans gathering up whatever falls into it. Sorry you got caught up in it too . . .
Nope! It's still yours. Sorry if we get carried away from time to time, but we do share your concerns - honestly. Hope you get things sorted without more delay. Keep us posted please.
Good luck. I've never had a CC dispute that didn't go my way. They seem to be consumer oriented even though they may not always seem that way.
I'm having a similar issue. I purchased a Sun Shade for my new Prime on Aug 20th. The USPS said they could not deliver it because he had left off the unit # of my townhome despite me providing it in the shipping address. I emailed him and he basically said my problem is with USPS, not him. I've emailed him 4 times since then without a response. USPS sent it back to him. I'm about to do a charge-back on my card. This has pretty much made it so I never want to use this website again, this customer service is piss poor. I just want the damn thing mailed back to me that I paid for.
What a pain! I'm glad I got my sun shade back when the system still worked. It's great. Can you arrange with the post office to pick it up? I know you shouldn't have to, but I think you'll be glad you got it.
I tried having them re-deliver it but it was already on it's way back to the sender. I work full-time, for Toyota, and don't get off until after the post-office closes. (Plus I live in the adjacent city, so it takes 20 minutes to drive home) I just want it shipped back to me but he's ignored my emails for 2 weeks.
You certainly got a raw deal from the shop and it's proprieter in particular, for which you have our greatest sympathy. While we all hope you get a satisfactory solution asap, don't give up on the Forum. There are some really great people on here who can help with any number of things. Me? I might make you smile or groan..... We never know in advance.
If the shop on here is not in working order it should be removed from the forum. New members are using it and getting the shaft!
Unfortunately, the forum members - even the moderators - don't have this authority. All we can do is listen and commiserate with you.
…or start using Real Men's Glasses (they're the ones marked in Imperial¹ Pints) 1pt (US) = 16fl.oz ¹ 1Pt (Imp.) = 20fl.oz
You're not the only one...this place charged my credit card for a $189 mirror that has never been processed or shipped. I placed my order - they charged my card and then....nothing. That was 11 days ago. I sent them another E-mail last night saying I needed to know something TODAY or I was going to dispute the charge and start leaving reviews. Sounds to me like this Danny fellow has pretty much just abandoned his business or something. I don't care how "busy" you are with your young family or whatever - if you've set up a business where you're accepting people's money - you have an obligation to your customers to deliver what you've supposedly sold. Anything else is called FRAUD. At best, this PriusChat shop is demonstrating exceptionally poor customer service. I'll give him the rest of the day to respond before I file with the C.C. company and get my money back.
I think legally in the US, they have up to 30 days from billing. I have dealt with (once) some slow businesses before. The key is to not do repeat business with them if at all possible.
Good luck getting a response. I left multiple messages and never have heard from him in two months. I have started the process of dispute but has not been resolved yet. Credit card wanted me to mail documents to them. Still waiting on that
…borrow some headed paper from a lawyer friend! (…that might unblock the drain! ) Good luck! (I'm still waiting! )
Well...I went to PayPal and filed a dispute this evening. Also reached out and filed a case with the Better Business Bureau. We'll see if he comes out of his coma and responds to either one of those. Seems kind of stupid that you'd just ignore your customers and abandon your business to the point where people are having to file claims to get their money back because you won't ship their merchandise or even respond to them.
