    Yup looks good.

As for the windows? I do not know. I assume the dip in the centre gives you a bit more viewing angle out the rear than a regular Prius. The lower rear window is taller too so it's supposed to let you see out better. But I guess if there's a camera, and you're comfortable with losing that lower rear window at night, then go for it. The darker window will compliment the red taillights from the outside.

Why is there such a long waiting period if someone ordered one? I drive 5 1/2 hours away to get mine.

I really don't mind the back of the car, though I think it really looks better when it's lowered. For example, @EibachMBZ's car. Also, it really does handle quite well (e.g. no muddy turn-in, even with crappy LRR tires).

I like The Prius Prime. (Except for the Back End).
    Didn't say they weren't popular.

This sums up Prius Prime (and fourth gen) styling for me, edgy for the sake of being edgy, in-your-face, discordant, I could go on...

Acceleration seems fine to me. Driving on the 405/605 in orange county and LA it's great. You can get groceries no problem, but not much more. I wouldn't take it on a trip to Costco though if I could help it.

IMO, acceleration is much better in the 4G than the 2G, even in ECO mode. YMMV.

The Prime gets an extra low speed boost for acceleration with a one-way clutch to use MG1 too.

Sensation wise I can agree but looking at the numbers they’re the same.

Yeah I agree, the parking lot at Costco generally sucks with all those peasants!!
I'm confronted by them each time I'm obliged to visit Costo to secure drugs!! The good thing about the Prime's cavernous trunk space is it's ability to carry the vast amounts of drugs I regularly procure there!

I've gone on two trips, with a family of four and with all of our stuff in the back. The eclipse trip included an entire suitcase full of optics, a camera bag, and two tripods on top of that. I routinely go to Costco for our work bar-b-que, which means food for around 50-70 people and snacks for a hundred people for a week.

So groceries don't fit in the Prime cargo area? | PriusChat

I have to agree that I wasn't too keen on the styling but then again I'm in the medicare fraternity. But my coworkers have consistently commented positively on the styling leaving me to reassess my thinking. As with many of these posts I was opting for performance and I think the Prime has superior handling and ride to any previous model I've owned. I driven over a thousand miles and used but one or two gallons of gas thus far as I can plug into an outlet at work. I will suggest that you avoid the black and white (skunk themed) interior which I ended up with because it would have been a month wait for another model with solid interior. Still I think you will love your new Prime along especially as you tick off the savings from Toyota incentives, fed incentive, maybe state and anything you can get the dealer to knock off. Go for it!!

Plenty of room for groceries and the seats fold down easily if you need to feed the mongol hordes. Acceleration is not outstanding, maybe a little worse than the prius two but good enough to get you onto a busy expressway.

After close to a week of owning the Prime I am highly impressed. Acceleration in EV and gas mode is much better than I expected. Just an overall smooth ride. My favorite part is that I have 10-13 miles to spare in EV mode on a daily basis to and from work!!!!!!
