    My untrained engineering eye sees a brighter more lit environment.

    But I guess that could be technology improvements over the last 10 or so years.

    It would be nice if done in color so the beautiful red paint could be seen(y)

    It's relatively ridiculous that we're picking apart avatars, but here's the old and the new. The original one was taken by a professional photographer for an article. The new one was me with a tripod and a ten-second timer. The road is more developed now so I couldn't get in exactly the same place because the sides of the road are completely different.

    Yeah, that sounds about right. The original was taken, I think, in the summer of 2006. In 2010, I went vegetarian and more whole food with fewer processed foods and fats. I've settled in about ten pounds lighter now than I was back then.
