A new rattle has been driving me nuts.

It's a 2004 Prius with 106,000 miles. I'm actually getting ready to sell it when this noise started.

After much trouble shooting and driving around with an empty car I've narrowed it down to this TSB T-SB-0300-08.

Has anyone had this done at a dealer or third part shop? I'm wondering what the cost would be. Under $300 is okay..more than that I might have to hold off.

I would normally have searched the forum, but the search function isn't working after the site upgrade.

You've checked your struts and they are ok? Why are you fixing it if you are going to just sell it?

Struts are fine. I'm fixing it as I still have to drive the car and the noise annoys me....and will be very evident to a dealer/buyer.

I have 10 years of maintenance records as I've kept it up very well (big thanks to this site). I don't want to stop now.

Has anyone had this done out off warranty or done it yourself?
