Spam bot attack

I thoght it was North Korea's cyber attack.

 

Time to bring out the Liquid-Plumr!!

 

First I report them, as spam
Then I click the blue square their avatar would be in and chose ignore.
Now I click New Posts in the top blue bar and ALL post and threads by that name are gone forever (for me).

 

I reported the first one two hours ago.
The flood continues.
If the owner doesn't care, why should WE ??

This should be easy to stop......for anybody with Moderator permissions.

 

Seems new Spam Bot is in action. or is it retaliation from Japan?

And when the moderators wake up, I am sure they will clean it up.

 

I have the same problem. How do we get this stopped?

 

Follow @JimboPalmer suggestion. You have to do it for several differnet user names spam bot is using, but they will be gone from the new post in your view.

Better yet, a moderator seems to have taken care of the situation. He has cleaned all the post and blocked the spam user accounts.

 

This was reported at 2:59am. Then at 5:43 the moderator is flamed. JimboPalmer- thanks for the rational approach to the issue. I have been ignoring folks for years.
