Gen 3 removal of rear bumper/fender

    Hello Guys,

    Unfortunately some 'speedy gonzalez' minded individual collided with the rear end of my Gen 3. I wanted to avoid the costly involvement from my local dealership, and tackle the repair myself.

    Consequently, I'm curious, has anyone removed the rear bumper/fender on a Gen 3? Is it straightforward (a hunch says probably not)?

    Look for instructions on installing a Curt trailer hitch. That'll get you most of the way

    Post some pictures? How serious is it; have you considered there could be hidden damage? Do you have insurance?

    No offense, but under-the-table repair is just one more reason I never buy used.
