The crippling failure seems to be P0A2E-248 Drive Motor "A" temperature sensor circuit intermittent. Can't do anything with that present.

New head gasket, new 02 sensors, and new catalytic converter.....then this car will be good as almost new. If I can't fix it, then I'm going to hope Raytheeagle would want a spare Red parts car in great condition (non mechanical lol)

    Most likely that melted harness.

You might check the connection and connectors for corrosion.

Would be interesting to see what Torque reads the MG2 temp as.

Im stuck in suburbia with lack of storage:(.

The body work looks in great shape (other than the rear bumper):).

I'd love to fiddle with it though(y).

Well I ran into a road block at the DMV, can't get it into my name due to technicality. This car's registration expires 9/27/17, but Sammy paid the registration for 2018 already. Now since I need it to go on Non op (without smog certificate transfer), they can't do it. That'll mean DMV will owe money for the 2018 registration....which they can't do. So I'm stuck until after 9/27/17, when the new registration kicks in before I can transfer. Crazy......

This car will need a new engine. There's no way I have to tools or knowledge to tackle the oil burning and head gasket. That's a complete rebuild.....no time for that, it's going to be an engine when the time comes.

I think this is more of a NutzAboutBolts thing. He can make a new video with an engine rebuild.

Willing and able to drive NAB (including all the video gear and the support crew) down to LA for this production endeavor at anytime, could even host some or all of the crew at a friends place near the La Brea Tar Pits (up towards Hollywood if it matters).

wow, thanks for the offer! If only this gig was 100% a job, we would've taken the offer, unfortunately, we have other circumstances in our way and have other priorities such as work and family to attend to :(

Too bad we're not single, we would be living the life of traveling lol.

Well guys, this wasn't meant to be. Up for Sale is a beautiful 2010 Prius mechanic's special. Has engine AND transaxle problems.

The temperature error code is from MG2, could still be the harness but I'm thinking that's what fried the harness.
