Hello everyone My 2012 Prius battery in boot died, I replaced with new battery, car starts up drives but all dashboard light are on abs, air bag, power steering light, triangle warning,. Also gears on dashboard do not show as moving from park to neutral to drive or reverse, but physically the car drives, reverses etc only on dashboard it doesn't indicate when you move the gears ??? Anyone know what is reason for this Appreciate any solutions Thanks
Hello thanks for the responses, sorry for delay I managed to test battery it was 12.50 volts with car engine off, it was 13.83 with car engine on new battery specifications are: Amp Hours: (ah)40AH Cold Cranking Amps: (CCA)300CCA Length: 187mm Width: 127mm Height: 226mm if thats any help, battery looks kind small
it is a small battery. how long had the car been off when you measured it? even 12.5 is low for a new battery, but serviceable.
I forgot to mention the window controller for all windows on drivers side doesn't work except for driver side window. And remote fob doesn't work I changed fob battery but still not opening or locking doors by the remote fob
Arm chair guess...there are 2 fuse-able links on your positive battery terminal "connector" that might be worth a look. Short of that and what was already offered, get the DTC code pulled because something's not talking...or forgot.
