I have contacted dealers, found out prices, and am going to buy one of these. After looking at the Toyota website and the dealer websites, I am still a bit confused about the differences between these two cars.

Here is what I can gather-

    • The Advanced has the JBL stereo

The rest, I don't know! I would consider a Plus, but the dealer doesn't even have those. I'm not a huge fan of the Tesla-like tablet style control panel and I know both the Premium and Advanced have those, but once again, the dealer doesn't even have the Plus.

If you have either, why did you choose it over the other? There is a $4000 price difference between the two and I'm trying to figure out or justify why the Advanced is more. I'm not opposed to paying the increase, but I need to know what I'm paying for. Thanks!!

(When we bought our 2007, we just went with the highest options that they had and have the JBL stereo, which I like. I can't justify 4k for a JBL stereo though)

EDIT: I just found a thread on this!! Okay, any regrets not getting the Advanced if you have the Premium?

If you are "not a huge fan of the Tesla-like tablet style control panel", then you might be happier with Plus model if you can find it. I ended up getting Premium, like you said, simply because the dealer did not have Plus model in stock. I was hesitant about the large display, and after getting it, I still do not like it. I also prefered cloth seats of Plus, and after 3 weeks of driving Premium, I definitely do not like the feel of Softex. But on the other hand, 3 door SKS and lower lumber support on power seat on Premium, features not available on Plus, are very nice. As for the Advanced trim, since Premium trim was already overkill for me, I did not even look at it. People who has Advanced seems to be very pleased with HUD display and other safety features such as Blind Spot Monitor, so if those features are important to you, then you should consider Advanced. Good luck in deciding your new PRIME.
