My BMW is a 99 M3, which actually I got decent milage since I was doing a 16 mile all hwy commute (23 MPG). But nothing compared to the Prius. Plus, the prius has got way more amenities that the BMW is just too old to have (bluetooth and the keyless entry). Definitely glad I bought it, but I had a whole spreadsheet justifying the purchase that has now gone to hell by not having my daily commute

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(darelldd @ Jul 6 2006, 09:12 PM) </div> Actually you are at a very enviable 0 GPM!!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(San Diego Steve @ Jul 6 2006, 11:52 PM) </div> It is more like 8 mpg, but you need to lay the 8 on it's side.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(darelldd @ Jul 5 2006, 10:11 PM) </div> All right, mr. high and mighty. But let me ask you something: If your EV is so fantastic, why on earth would you stoop down to our level and get a Prius too? ::tap tap tap:: I'm waiting... You know I'm just jealous... Prices here in SoCal have jumped from below $2.99/gallon for the cheap stuff to $3.15-3.25 in just the last 2 days alone.
Rancid, i think darrell bought a Prius because he thought he could figure out a way to extend the Prius EV range based on his knowledge of his RAV EV. so he only bought the Prius for the EV half of the hybrid formula
