I bought a set of used TPMS and I only need to use one of them. Can I put the other 3 into a electronic static bag to prevent it from sending out a signal to deplete the battery?
I thought TPMS when not in use goes to sleep automatically. You will have to wake them up by low frequency ping to start transmitting signals to the car. If you keep them away from your car I don't think they will use any battery. Of course, there will be natural discharge of battery by age, but that should be minimal. Regular TPMS in the car last 7-10 years, so without any use, they should last even longer.
