    Hello,
    My 2010 wheels are peeling.
    1. Of what are they made? I put a magnet on them and it doesn't stick.
    2. What did Toyota use to coat them? Is this paint that's peeling? Some type of plating?
    3. How can I fix this? Sand, prime, and paint? Don't have $ to buy new wheels.
    Thanks,
    John

don't stick any weights on the wheels or else you will throw the wheel balance off.

There's lots of videos. This is DIY, but a lot of time and effort:

Considering it took long term neglect for them to get to this state, maybe not for you?

FWIW: Classic Silver Metallic (1F7) is body colour is exact match.

Or maybe just put the covers back on?

    Something else, a complete strip-down:

    Question #3 answered! THANKS!
It's funny, I had watched the other two videos by Chris Fix, but somehow missed this one. Thanks!
