The mpg got worse? My 2015 est mpg is 53/48, that 2018 is 48/43.

The EPA did a change on how they measure so it's the same as the 15' but these new numbers are almost worst case.

You think that rear bumper cover would fit the 2012? I kind of like it...

  5. Whoa... checking

So, where's the link to the brochure? Does it have self-adjusting grill blocking as in the regular Prius?

I wish that they would go back to a sub-20K model and work on better fuel economy. (I am aware of what the EPA did. Still...)

Huh, 16" alloys are standard now as is a driver's seat cushion airbag.

looks like they're making everyone pay for alloy wheels, since it's standard for C-1 and I guess safety sense BS...

It's funny that all these new "safety" tech focuses on what's outside of the vehicle, when seems like most the time the problem is with inside the vehicle (ie...inattentive/distracted/lazy/tired/whatever you name it driver) DOT might as well start requiring MFGs to put in cabin sensors that senses the driver's (lack) of attention to driving along with taser seats as standard to deliver shocks to drivers when they're not doing their job, so we don't have to deal with the onslaught of lazy drivers getting ques from annoying beeps and hoots to be shepherd back into lanes or stop

When will the C refresh into a more efficient power plant?

lol. Good catch. I read the tire spec but not the wheel spec. I see they have a typo on their site

15-in. 8-spoke machined alloy wheels with dark-gray-painted accents with P195/50R16 tires

I read the end of the line but not the beginning :D

Well... I mean... you could put 16" tires on 15" wheels... you just wouldn't get very far. :D

  12. What were they thinking with the display redesign? They have the clock, mpg, and odo stacked vertically, which is harder to read than from left to right. Why is the battery icon tilted in such a way that it's harder to see the bars on the top (or any differently than if it was flat)? Gosh this makes no sense, and hardly seems like any improvement over the '17.

Though I do love the new steering wheel cover color. The black looks much better than the chrome...ish color.

I like the update. Definitely gives the C its own personality as opposed to looking like the snack sized version of the 4th gen. I hope there are roof rack crossbars to go with it!

I'm going to be that person and say I really like the changes as a whole. Much better than the 2017 refresh. I've read that there is more soft touch materials (hopefully on the upper door panel) in the updated interior. I have a 2012 and it has been a pretty great little car and for that reason I wouldn't care to have the same powertrain again. Now, this trend I think should continue and furnish the Prius C as a "Crossover". Still the best looking Prius and it may outsell the C-HR

It reminds me of a smart phone interface and that may be what they're going for? It's alright but the battery bar thing is kind of odd.

I like the new front end. Half tempted to see if that would fit on my 2016.

I'm definitely liking the piano black look of the steering wheel and the rear bumper. Looks like they took some cues from the V for the vertical red reflectors, and the black bumper aesthetics from the TRD kit for the C.
Once spare parts start rolling in via fleabay, I'm hoping I can swap out the black steering controls into my '14C

I would like to have a screen where you can see engine info like RPM and water temp

The wheel well trim makes a lot of sense. I like the update, would definitely buy another Prius C.

I just got a new 2018 the rails on the roof are just flimsy plastic? I was also hoping they were going to have cross bars but no luck they will just be in the way of roof racks and make it harder to find ones that fit.
