I have an oil change due so I'll be ready for 8/12. The wife is getting back f on a So Cal trip and this will put it around 10 k miles since the last one.

Good to see this date might work. Look forward to some grillin' too.

If I get a headcount early, it will make it easy to prep burgers or pick up hot links. Please bring beverages though.

In terms of gear, I have two plastic ramps to lift one vehicle. I'll pick up a floor jack before Sat, which is something I've wanted for a while now.

 

I'll bring my jack and "Ramps".

No need to buy, hosting is good enough.

Awesome, I'd love to come. Coincidentally will be getting my Prius looked at the day before this since I think my brake actuator is acting up. What's the address we are meeting at?

 

Is this something that might be under warranty? Do some searching here as if it is the brake actuator, it might be under warranty until December 2017 for your Gen2.

Maybe we'll see you this weekend.

Another successful Bay Area meet up was had today!

Thanks to @Pedal Logic for hosting . It was nice to see @mmmodem ,@SFO , @TK Rocket , @maxwell13579 for coming and participating. I know I had a good time and enjoyed the conversation .

List of what got done for those interested:
- @mmmodem with an oil change and a "cross pattern" tire rotation
- @SFO with an oil change and trans drain and fill
- @maxwell13579 temoving the front bumper cover and fixing it up
- I did an engine oil change an @Pedal Logic gave me some new Smart Pedal upgrades

You neglected to mention @Pedal Logic excellent spicy sausage lunch.

Oh and I found it! It's called a Forward Cross tire rotation. It ensures all 4 tires go to each corner of the car after 3 rotations.

I used to do that, but now I'm too lazy and just rotate it front to back. People at the dealership just rotate front to back as well. Also, if you have directional tires, you can't cross tire rotation.

yeah, its not common that's why.

 

I do a cross, then front to back, then cross rotation. Gets the same result .

 

So when are we thinking of having the next meeting? Just got a ratchet set myself (big thanks for letting me borrow yours @SFO ) so I'm super hyped to do some work!
