Noisy A/C

    I don't hear any A/C noise inside except fans blowing. Out side the car it sounds sort of like gas powered leaf blower, I've been using it for years and just noticed the noise. Is there something wrong with it?

    i didn't notice mine for 10 years. they're just noisy, and the harder they work, the noisier they are.
    says something about cabin insulation though.

    Thanks! I thought that might be the case. It does a great job. We have a lot of 100 degree days this summer.
