Wow... get the sun in the wrong place and the reflection off the touch screen is blinding. Anyone works out a solution for this?

They helped a little. But then you can't see the HUD (if your shades are polarized).

I had my windows tinted. Helped a little. In the Toyota survey, I suggested that the screen be tilted towards the driver a little to help with the glare from the passenger window. We'll see.

been a problem since 2004. don't know if it's unfixable, or they just can't be bothered.

Yeah but the Gen 2 and 3 screens were matte. The Gen 4 screens are glossy.

either way, i can't see my screen when the sun is on it. it only matters for gps, i can only find my destination in cloudy weather, or at night.

Yep, I experienced blinding screen this morning as the sun was hitting directly onto it. That's why I wanted Plus not Premium. I wonder if anti-glare privacy filter for the laptop screen would help this problem? Have anyone tried something like this? Privacy Products

Is the screen too big for something like this? I made it from 1/8" plastic and a little Velcro. It's not a total cure, but it's a BIG help.
