We are waiting for a mod party so we can chill and relax with you guys.

 

Weather is gorgeous today is NC so I washed mine and my wife's cars!! It has been 5 months since both of these cars have been washed.

 

I pretty much put my other mods ideas to a stop cause i don't trust anyone else to touch my car lol

Usual 12(4),000 mile stuff ... new spark plugs and, while those were out, my first cylinder leakage tests for this car. Cylinder 2 a bit low. Still within (barely) a published tolerable range for variation between cylinders, but still puzzling when 1, 3, and 4 had such excellent, well-matched results. Hmmm.

Did a tire rotation, alignment, readjusted PSI to 42F/40R, and got it washed after hitting 40k miles during my ownership. I know, I know... nothing exciting. 14,999 more miles until I can take the same pic @riceroni87

 

Done for now. Just waiting on different front splitter rods. The ones I got were too short.

Here, you can see they only reach the 2nd grille. I need it to reach the top ledge by fogs. And no, a splitter has no function for us but aesthetics. But I'm sure someone will still ask without reading this.


The splitter is plywood with several coats of outdoor urethane and gloss black. Didn't really spend a lot of time trying to make it super finished, knew eventually it would become worn, beaten, and destroyed eventually. Left a good 1.75inch on each side when I decide to add canards above the DRLs later on.


Decided to go above the low and high beam housings with my switchback LEDs. Tried routing under, but everyone does that. Tried the curved "C" shape too that subaru's have. Didn't like it either. Chose not to do high beam projectors, demon eyes, or halos. Not a fan of those looks. Nothing against them, just not what I'm into.

These are universal Mud flaps made by Rallyarmor. Didn't like either version of the ones Toyota makes, so went this route. I painted tap screws satin black to blend better. Made them about 1.5 inches from lip to ground.


My switchback LED tapping. Green is passenger turning signal, yellow is driver turning signal, red is drl, and black is ground.




I did other stuff I didn't mention like roof&hood wraps, side skirts, mini shark fins, yellow fog LED, new caliper color, and other stuff. But can't remember everything at the moment. Just wanted to give you guys an update.

Stopped by Discount Tire today and had the Continentals rotated and balanced. I had one tire replaced a while back, screw too close to the sidewall to repair, have 40,000 miles on them, three at 7/32 and one at 9/32, liking these tires enough to get another set when these are worn out.

BTW, did you able to get the Plus body kit brand new or have to get a used set?

 

The rain from last night wasbarely small enough just to make a mess on cars parked outside. =(

also added chrome strip on the sides

added the Lexus version hybrid badge

plus i bought a sticker thing that changes the norwegian blue "N" on the license plate to black

next imma do is adding this wireless charger, at the same place the prius prime got it. finding out some sort of way to add it without it looking stupid down where the seat warmer buttons r and stuff
