Hello fellow Prius Owners, I haven't posted in quite awhile doe to the demands of my job. I'm about to celebrate 3 years as a Prius owner and am happy to report that I'm very happy with the vehicle. I just wanted to ask a couple of questions - of the current tire offerings, which one seems to be delivering the best overall performance? When the installed stock tires wore out on my 2014 Gen 3, I opted for the Michelin Defender, which is definitely a smoother-riding tire, although it appears I gave up 1-2 mpg. Also, has anyone attempted converting over to a K&N filter setup for the air intake? One more thing - my Prius had around 57,000 miles on it. What's the experience base say about changing out the struts? Thanks in advance for your answers. Ken offthegridprepper.com
My 2010 has 151K, mostly of horrible Pennsylvanian roads, and still sailing along with it's factory struts.
OP, I have read some bad comments about K&N filter on a Prius, but I don't remember which thread it is. Do a search and you should be able to find a few on the K&N filter.
