I am sure there must be a programmer on PriusChat. I need some advice. I have a programming background but I've been out of programming for a few years now. If you are willing to give some advice let me know and I will PM you. Thanks!

I do mostly C/C++ (more C++ than C) system programming. Specialized in algorithms. If I could be of help, welcome to e-mail me.

Well, if you want to know about Forth, Smalltalk, or other obscure programming languages, I'm your guy! I've spent the last 15 years writing in Smalltalk -- I started even before objects were "cool". Oh, and Objective-C -- I ported it from UNIX to the PC back when it was a commercial product sold by Stepstone, Inc. Yep, a storehouse of arcane programming arts, that's me!
I am an EE. I program single board computer to boot. Actualy, I work with u-boot and powerpc processors
I'll add my two cents' worth. I used to kick it old school. My mastery was in mainframe programming: COBOL, JCL, FORTRAN, Assembler, raw binary, RPG, PL/1, and a few others. It was the switch to PC and object-oriented programming that got me out of it.

Very versed in Visual Basic, but most people don't consider it much of a programming language. So far, it's offered me a career for 22 years, but who's counting! Be glad to help if it's related. ---Kent

Watashi wa doitsu-go o hanashimasen.(I don't speak German, but said in Japanese) also I am cheating like crazy and using a binary translating program.
