I found that I have driven over 57 miles in one day, Ev only, four times since I got the car in April. One of them was just over 62 miles. Oddly, the 62 mile one was with just one additional charge during the day while the others were all more than that (2-3 charges, mostly partial).

i haven't kept track, but i'm sure i've had days with 3 or 4 trips averaging 10 miles/trip and charging in between.

In my case with L2 charger at home and L1 at my friend's place I stay frequently it is quite often I do over 53-55 miles (with one re-charge in between) a day. Other than that it only happened once I did two re-charges (L1 & L2) and drove 79 miles EV only.
Should I have L2 chargers in both places that long Ev only drives would much more frequent (5.5h changing time on L1 is convenient overnight only)

    It's one of life's tests;).

So far your tolerance has outweighed the "updates".

    So your resolve is high(y).

77.2 miles today. Overnight charge, one L2 charge during the day, one L1 charge in the evening.

    Ok,
    • 30 min @50 mph ~= 25 miles
    • 120 min @L2 ~= one charge
So 150 minutes, 2.5 hours, to cover 25 miles with an L2 recharge. Four cycles, 100 miles, would take 10 hours. Eight cycles, 200 miles, 20 hours. Nine cycles, 225 miles, 22.5 hours.

Being a newbie in Prime Ownership ring. One day under my belt to be exact. May I ask where I can find the information about how far I've driven in one day in EV only? I know, I know, it's in the owners manual somewhere, but this car came with 7 books, and I have had time to read only the thinnest one "QUICK GUIDE", and the information was not in there! Thanks.

AFAIK it is not readily available, one way to achieve this would be to reset trip A or B at the beginning of the day, and then at the end check you ECO diary to check that you have driven 100% in EV ... now, you'll need to learn how to read and navigate through the ECO diary, strongly suggest you start with the manual, pg 205, way too much to remember (and to type ...)
BTW, the ECO diary is kept separately for each setting of the trip meter ...

Thanks. Manual p205 is now on my priority reading list. This may be the first time I really have to read through the manual to understand all the functionalities in one consumer product. I certainly didn't have to do that for my previous gen3 Prius.

I have downloaded the pdf version and have had it open on my computer since day 1, not looking at it that often anymore, but still handy ...

MID section is only 54 pages long. Light and fast reading, ain't it?
