Routinely getting 35-38 EV miles per charge. Cannot imagine where the advertised 25 miles EV range comes from. I expect the miles will drop when the winter time Temps hit...which can happen any day in Chicago.

Temps definitely affect EV miles. In Feb. and Mar. I rarely got 30. But come Apr. and May and Jun., I'm about where you are. Again, it all depends mostly on the weather, speed, how many red lights you get stuck at and the infamous "other things".

33.6 miles of EV for me today... just from my ordinary commute, going along with the flow of traffic.

These are my days off work, so I've only used the car in EV for in-town errands. Two round trips, each about 8 miles. The first round trip was 7.7 miles per kWh, the second trip 7.5 miles per kWh.
I'm not exactly sure of the usable capacity but if it is 6.6 kW then range is 50 miles for this very easy driving.

Ahhh... but yet AGAIN if I'm doing the math right, that's only 4.62 cents per mile. Not as good as you might want / not as good as most-if-not-all Prime owners would expect, but that's still better than just about all the other cars (excluding other Primes, of course... snicker....) out there!

Man-oh-man... if we EVER get ours - it's been two months since "special (?) ordering" it! - I sure hope WE "only" get 32.7 electric-only miles from time to time... ........

I must say, you have the patience of a saint. I "settled" for a Premium, because that was all that was available around here in late January and I did not want to wait. Definitely no regrets!

same here, except they had a premium Blue Magnetism/Black in Washington DC (which is what I desired) but lo and behold! My local dealer 2 miles away from where I live had a Blue Magnetism/Moonstone Advanced coming in in a couple of days, so I jumped on that deal.Way back in November.:D

Just drove 26.6 miles round trip and it said 7.9 miles remaining when I got back (that adds up to 34.5 miles). Pretty efficient route because of the lack of high speed, but there is about a half mile each way of 55mph (which means accelerating to 55 and then decelerating almost to zero in that short distance) and another whole mile each way of dirt road, which really eats up the battery compared to pavement.

July 4, 2017 (happy fourth of July) 32.8 Miles EV but charged my car again and traveled 16.5 miles going no faster than 45 MPH had 19 miles left so 16.5 + 19.0 = 35.5 Miles EV assuming I keep my MPH at 45 MPH or lower.:D

Nice, what kind of temps are you driving in? 35 is about what I've been getting in 65° - 70°, without the infamous "other factors".

    New personal record

I drove 44 miles to work in EV and ended up with 4.0 miles EV remaining.

    8 miles at 30 mph
    8 miles at 60 mph
    27 miles at 63 mph
    1 mile at 20 mph

    90F
    Fan, No A/C
400 meter drop in elevation (works out to be ~ 40 Wh/mile assistance)
    6300 -> 5000 feet elevation

This is only my second time making it to work on battery only. I'll have to check if wind played a part, although I didn't see anything swaying :)

So that is pretty cool ....
The no less impressive result happens when I drive home. Then I climb the 1300 feet and today I hit 59.3 mpg without any EV help. The round trip works out to an estimated 130 mpg (0.685 gallons) + one full charge for 89 miles. Well done, Prime!

Prius Prime Advanced - car a month old on 7/6/17 charge results keep going up today 35.4 will post again when it tops out. with our other Priuses we found that cold weather effected the range.

Got my car last week and it was only charging to 21 and 22 miles which disappointed me at first as my drive to work is right at 25 miles. It has slowly increased each day and on my drive home yesterday I missed making it completely on battery by just a few hundred feet. This morning my charge showed 24.7 miles and I actually made it all the way to work with 1 mile to spare. 95% of my drive is going 60-70 mph on highways with small rolling hills.

On a side note, took my car down to Austin this past Monday and got 57 mpg while driving 75 mph for the nearly 6 hour round-trip. That surprised me as I was expecting the lower end of the 50 - 54 range that is advertised for this car.

I'm running about 31.3 EV miles now with Hades weather and new Michelin Defenders. I would estimate 15% loss in economy; this isn't insignificant! The big advantages are much better durability, better handling and feel, higher speed range capability (meaning stronger and safer), and quieter for a fair price. Don't know about wet traction; somebody said this is important for dealing with a phenomenon called, "rain". I honestly don't know what the heck they're talking about!!
