The "Send Nudes" Prius

Picking up where I left off last time.
Began building a custom diffuser



Went to a charity car wash

The camber is crazy

Had to make sure my spare fit. Yes that is an X5 wheel. Also finished the camo

Made it to LA on the way to ToyotaFest

And now in the streets of Long Beach

Met up with the Prius Fam before the show

Had a blast at ToyotaFest

Made it home, not much happened. Just having fun

Went to Cars and Coffee Modesto

Got some rollers on the way

Made a quick render of how it would look on bags

Love the headlight wrap colors

Recently discovered a crack in my wheel, had to put the spare on

Took the bumper off so it doesn't get caught on the thicker tire

And had to take the rear to math also started peeling the wheels

Switched up my brothers Prius

We dem bois

Got some stickers for my pup

Got the wheel fixed and back on

Went off-roading, hard to see but it's 3 wheeling

Currently don't have any plans on what to do next. Focusing more on getting my other car on the road. Possibly will be taking off the wrap soon. As always stay tuned and follow my insta @priusadventures

 

Cost me about 100 bucks for the wrap off eBay. Basically ordered large sheets of black and large sheets of gray and just cut the shapes. Took about a week and a half to finish the whole car, just a few hours every day

 

Not much had happened since the last post. Here is me on the 4th of July

This is my actual fitment


Took a trip to Santa Cruz


Had a photoshoot down there



Installed a light bar

Painted my wheels white

Shot a video with my friend (link to video at the end of post)

Made some headlight covers again

Spotted in traffic

Painted the spare too

Took the white plastidip off, was going on a trip to seattle, wasn't going to last anyways. Put my roof rack back on with one spare on the roof and one spare in the trunk

As soon as I drove into Medford the car started overheating. Turns out the light bar blocked air flow so I took the bumper off to keep the engine cool

Made it to Seattle

Spent a few days up there. On the way back home it drove pretty smoothly. Once I was near Shasta I noticed a vibration that I haven't felt before. Turns out one of the tires had a hole in the sidewall. Tossed my spare on

Finally got my second car registered and insured

Mounted the diffuser on the Prius

Git my benz a hardtop

Since I got another car I could finally start doing the body kit I been planning for the Prius. Started with the lip

There was a large gap in the center. Filled it with foam yesterday, cut the foam down today and put bondo on

This evening after coming home from work I sanded down the bondo and repainted the lip. Will mount it back on tomorow along with a completed camo pattern. Next I'll start the sodeskirts and ducktail spoiler.

The front lip I made from my old cracked bumper, just cut the bottom portion off and riveted on, some foam+bondo+paint+wrap later and it's done!

Started creating sideskirt

Finished the wrap

Started creating a diffuser

Takes 5 minutes driving out of the driveway

Started making the other sideskirt

Went on a photoshoot

Created another fin for the diffuser

Started painting the wheels black

Redrew the fender/clearcoated


Hybrid battery started throwing up trouble codes
Took the battery apart

Replaced 2 cells, cleaned out the filter, mocked up other fin

Repainted tail lights a little darker, painted other wheels

Went on another shoot

Also went to a meet, needless to say she was a hit

Planning on getting blast pipes, yes they'll be larger

Got some fall decorations

Painted the diffuser

Here's where I left off last time

Started plastidipping the mouth

And the tongue


Wiper deleted, new tow hook

Took a trip, plastidip started coming off on a few wheels as well as diffuser. Driver sideskirt started peeling wrap and some paint

Also cracked my lip so I spent the next day taking off the lip and sideskirt and plastidip


Started mocking up a new lip from my old bumper

Trimmed and primered

Added some decorations

Mounted and painted sideskirt

Painted lip

Began wrapping

Finished the lip, started the sideskirt

Went Christmas tree shopping


Plastidipped the wheels again

Dropped the rear bash bumper

New bumper and new spoiler (touring spoiler)

And painted

Painting the underside


Wrapped the spoiler, added some Christmas decorations

Ran out of wrap for the bumper

Added some more Christmas decorations, waiting for wrap to come in, as well as exhaust tips
