This is hilarious. You ignored nearly 100 phone calls, racked up $1000 of unpaid bills over the course of a year, and complain about a repossession? Wow...

No complaining, just asking how they tracked him, so he can remove the tracker after he gets the car back. Rinse and repeat

The op was his only post ever...

Either a troll or grabbed his soccer ball and went home after he didn't like our replys?

won't help ... most all tow trucks modernly have the same kind of license plate identification system that cop cars utilize. The system's camera captures the license & scans it through the deadbeat database, or bail jumper database or whatever. I was on the amateur radio a few weeks back & a tow truck driver in another state interrupted himself saying he'd have to get back to the conversation later. When he finally got back on the radio, he exclaimed how he had to wait for a driver to go into their house - he could stealthily hook up the repo vehicle that his system flagged - as it was coming toward him from the opposite direction. Gotta love technology.

I'll bet they have your phone number, and your smart phone has a GPS chip. You're their own best helper in locating you.

Wow just checked back here. Whatever, guys. I messed up. It was a bad year. And, yes, I ignored hundreds of phone calls.

I was just thinking about how I don't like that tracker on there. No one knows? Really? It probably drains the battery.

My guess is the gps on the car. But it most likely is a hidden device from the loan company. So they don't get ripped off

They repo man doesn't even need GPS. Cars have been repossessed long before in-dash navigation even existed. Toyota financial knows your home address, work address, and phone number. That's all they need.

What he said. This might be the dumbest thing I have ever heard in my entire life. Its called be a MAN, get a hold of your life, and make your car payments on time...simple. Its called being an adult. The fallacies pointed out below is all you need to know.

Oh, and money is an issue because I can't believe someone who has missed payments for a year (with this dumb thought process) didn't have borrow the money from family to get the car out...hmmm.

Disbelief and shocking. Shaking my damn head.

I have some advise. Don't tell this to any of your friends or associates. Once they find out that 1,000 dollars seems like nothing to you and that you are offended when someone wants their money back, they certainly wont want to loan you 20 bucks for gas till payday.

    # I wont lend you my bike either.

Apparently their head either needs more shaking, or they have been shaking it for over 6 months now(n).

I have a very carefully designed aluminum foil hat I wear while in the car, and have never had a repo. The hat, combined with regular car payments, seems to work for me.
