Both lighter outlets went dead in 2007 model

    Hey guys, I need your help please! Both lighter socket outlets stopped working at the same time in my 2007. I replaced the fuses indicated in the owner manual and both lighter outlets are still dead. I had been using a phone charger and small Sirius radio unit in them for a couple years with no issues. Nothing else went out, just the plugin lighter power outlets. I don't see any loose wires or bad connections but I'll check again. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    No, the fuses looked fine but I don't have an ohm meter so I replaced the two outlet fuses with new ones just to be sure.

    You really need a multimeter to diagnose. Check the voltage at the supply side of the fuses, first.

    Multimeters can be had for just a few dollars.

    It looks like the two outlets share a ground connection. Get a multimeter and check continuity from the negative terminals of the outlets to chassis ground. Or make a temporary connection with a jumper and see if they work.
