How to fix body seam after replacing tail light

    I replaced the passenger side tail light and now the seam near the back of the car looks like this. Tried to fiddle with it but no luck. Any suggestions for getting this tighter?

    Thank you for this thread! Mine has exactly the same problem, worse on the right side. At least now I know it is a common problem and how to fix it, if I ever get into the mood to install some shims to close the gap.
