I came across this cover by accident while on Ebay this afternoon. I'm not a big fan of buying from China but for the price it might not be a bad deal. Has anyone come across another alternative? I don't get it!? What's the point? Is this a steering wheel cover? If so, why?! The factory Prime Advanced steering wheel, as the British say, is lovely, comfortable and sized perfectly. The only thing that might change is creating a gap at 6 o'clock for those who like to hang their hands there on long trips. But this is not a deal breaker. Otherwise, if this is a steering wheel cover, it's a waste of money. And this is from a guy who put real leather steering wheel covers on all his Alfa Romeo plastic steering wheels. .
Actually, it is not a steering wheel cover. It is a piece of horrible green or black plastic to cover up the white plastic that is under the steering wheel.
I would want to make it into a 4-spoke steering wheel, back to my 07 prius style. I find it easier to control.
I actually need a steering wheel cover. The Prime steering wheel has a very thin outer layer, which is coming off where I rub it getting in. Toyota says there's nothing they will do about it.
Reviving this thread since my steering wheel of my 2017 Prime also is peeling all over -probably too much sun exposure. Any suggestions which steering wheel covers are the best fit? Thank you!
