My hourly rate to help Toyota would be free. So when I retire, it would be 2x free. They can afford that.
Now if they want to make a contribution to the project, I certainly wouldn't say no...

Not exactly sure what you mean, but nobody else has ever seen anything like what I am doing before I started doing it either.

You have a tight schedule. You have to build her car before you retire too, don't you? At least if you want a peaceful retirement.

If he comes to Nor Cal, we'd definitely have a meet-up:)!

And if fruit of the vine fans, I might know of a couple places to partake in a glass or 2:whistle:.

Yes, as phase II once my wife's Electric BMW Z3 is finished. Not right away though. I want to have some fun with the Firebrid first.

The one constant among engineers is that when given the opportunity, they never stop tinkering with their creations to improve them.

After cleaning up some rough edges, I created cardboard templates for closing up the dash plenum. It had to get a bit complicated where the wiper linkage comes close to the Prius v a/c unit. Now I have the templates that allow me to fabricate the sheet metal parts.

It is simply amazing what an engineer can do with a little cardboard and duct tape. If this keeps up we will live in a cardboard world! Wait! We do!

Keep it up Bill, we will burn the cardboard. And a FireBrid will arise up out of the ashes.

Fabricated the sheet metal parts for the cowl / firewall today. The first test fit went well. Only a few adjustments needed for when I start welding.
