What do the rims look like under the caps on the Prime's wheels?

I've had a flat, so I've seen what they look like. They look like 5 star aluminum mags. In fact, it's fairly debatable that they look better than the hubcaps, but there is no center cover.

If you like the wheels without hubcaps, you can buy center caps to cover the hole in the middle. They are caps from the 2nd generation Prius and they worked for the same situation on the 3rd generation Prius. I did the for my parent's 3rd generation Prius and they loved it.

    I think it'd be item #6 here:

WHEELS for 2016 Toyota Prius | Toyota Parts

That's the centre cap for 17" rim (item #2) if I'm not mistaken, since Toyota doesn't comprehend anyone to take off the wheel covers on 15", lol. I believe it'll fit, ie: the 15" and 17" centre openings, hub openings, are the same. I think.

If you just google the part number on ebay, you might find cheaper too.

Before I order the silver center caps, I'd like to be sure of the part No. and spec. Has anyone ordered these yet and confirmed they fit the Prim's 15" standard U.S. alloy wheels?

For merely the humor value, I might ask the dealership what they'll charge me for the center wheel caps. They wanted a little over 50 (installed) for the black applique over the shifter plate.

Yeah doesn't hurt to ask. Maybe see if they'll divulge the part number, and info about compatibility while you're at it.

That's what I thought about the applique too. I was expecting some hideous $100 or something. At $10 over the web price, and installed, it became a no brainer. It is going to be a while before I find out about the caps -- I don't want to hound the sales lady too often -- that could work against me, and the car is still somewhere between 14 and 3000 weeks away from being delivered. I also still need to figure out what comes with the car covering the rear deck, if anything.

There are several dealers selling it on eBay. It comes with double-sided tack tape already on it. Just peel the backing off the tape and carefully place it over the white dash area and press it down.

FWIW, it should NOT cost $50 friggin' dollars for this flimsy piece of plastic. It's quite the rip off. But I hated the white shiny plastic on my dash so I held my nose and clicked "Buy It Now".

Agree 100%. But I can't make the thing myself for less. Yesterday I paid $215 for a washing machine repair that only included a rubber belt that makes the tub spin around, plus the house call which included about 15 minutes of his time (and 47 years of experience). I can't justify that one bit either. In fact it makes me rather ill thinking about it. Yet, I was once in a business that charged similarly.

You're either alive and depend on others to provide what you need/want and then pay for it, or be the man that needs nothing, or be the everyman who can make everything yourself. I am not the later two of those three. So I work for $$ and then pay others. And I am fine with it.

    PN 42603-52170 Bought on Amazon <$80 delivered for four caps. 2017-06-02 14.14.52.jpg 2017-06-02 14.15.23-1.jpg

Installed without tools in a minute. Plastic hub caps have scarred the wheels a bit which is annoying. I would have preferred delivery with the plastic hub caps in the trunk. I've saved them in case the next owner (in a few years) likes the look. The new plugs are chrome plated plastic or something like that. They fit perfectly and don't seem to be likely to fall out. They snap in with a little tang, so it might take a tap with a hammer handle from the inside to get them out.
