First time reconditioning but I have done a top end balance before.

Supposed to recondition every 6 months. I have 155 k miles on our Prius, so out of any warranty.

Hybrid Automotive sells the equipment I use and it is easy to do:

Prolong Battery Systems. Extending the life of your hybrid. – Hybrid Automotive

I have the charger, bulbless discharger and the harness. Once the harness is installed, the reconditioning is done in the car.

You could pm @jeff652 and he could provide more details too as he runs Hybrid Automotive (y).

Look like your yellow fog light is pointing too high. Turn off your low beam and check to see if the fog lights are level

It is normal, Google "squirrel finders headlights", installing HIDs and leaving the squirrel finders unblocked lets glare out that will irritate other drivers.

The fact that your passenger side doesn't have the pattern might indicate that your bulb isn't seated correctly.

Andy, here's a picture of my halogen bulbs against my garage door. The lowbeams before blocking the squirrel finder cutouts, and projector foglights with a proper cutoff:

Here's a picture of the lowbeams after HID kit installed and squirrel finder cutouts blocked, no rectangles, no glare above the cutoffs:

Check the bulb, it's probably not mounted straight. That's the side with really tight access behind the headlight. Take off the 10mm bolt holding the air intake hose off, unclip the hose anchor toward the front and bend the intake hose up and away.

If you have a crooked bulb, it could melt the plastic headlight housing.

Really been dumping too much money on this car but just order a new headunit along side with the dash kit, wiring harness etc etc.

Kenwood 893s to replace that factory shit box GPS. Hu features Garmin GPS, Android Auto, 6.95 inch high res screen etc. Can't wait!

The rectangles of light above the cutoffs is normal, see my previous post pictures before modifications to remove them.

The bulb is sitting fine it's not loose or crooked I checked. The hidextra rep told me it could be defective bulb so he's gonna send me a replacement.

Sometimes you might have to shim the bulb too. Not sure how common that is with the halogen projector, but I know with my HID projector people sometimes have to put a shim behind the bulb to move the hot spot around.

Just to confirm, are you talking about the height of the cutoff or that the cutoff has a little different shape to it on the passenger vs driver side?
