little green light on parking button...

    is there any way to keep this light on ...when i pull into my garage , even when the garage light is on , i can't see the parking button and i know it's close to the shifter ....everything is black around the parking button ...

    No, only when it is in park, then the little green light is lit.

    When I'm done driving I skip the Park button and go straight to the Power button. That lights up the Park button for a moment before powering down. I assume this is okay to do.

    Yeah, like others: just hit the power button, if you're shutting down anyway. But: it should be better.

    Button illumination on our 3rd gen sucks too. The drivers door armrest for example, lock/unlock button in particular. Ergonomics, utility: words that don't seem to be in the designers' vocubulary.

    Edit: I had a complete brain-bubble when typing the above, revised red text, from "parking brake".
