The cab I have been driving for the past year is finally being retired... odometer is at 498k! it still runs great, the big battery was replaced last year. The owner offered it to me for 2k. From the other threads I've seen I suspect you guys will try to talk me out of it, but I though I'd give it a shot anyhow. Thanks in advance for any input.
welcome! i would pay two grand just for 2,000 more miles! then i would call toyota and discuss their next prius commercial, most here claim the gen 3 isn't as hearty as gen 2. you beg to differ. all the best.

You can easily make more than 2k parting it out. A year old hybrid battery should easily go for 1k and that's dirt cheap. Or just drive it. 2k is cheap transportation.
