Can everyone who has a 2017 Prius Prime please tell me why you chose the color that you did? I am having a difficult time deciding what color I want to buy.

And, if you have pics of your car you can post that would be great! Living in Seattle they don't sell the Prime's here so I am going to have to go to Oregon purchase one and I have learned that the color pics on the web and brochures never match what the real life color is.

Any help or pics you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks!

I don't have a picture handy but I bought Titanium Glow. The reason was purely pragmatic. I wanted a light color to keep it cooler in the summer. That meant white, silver or titanium. White cost extra and silver is such a common car color, I thought I'd try titanium. I like it but secretly covet a red one. :)

I bought the gray with the dark interior. My last Prius (pictured next to my new car in the photo to the left) was silver, as was my car before that. I initially wanted the red, but the husband convinced me that this was a passing phase (and he was right...I'm not really a red car kind of guy). I test drove one with a white interior, which I just can't warm up to. All I could picture was dirt and smudges all over it. Very happy with my choice.

That photo of me taking a photo of my Blue Magnetism with a sunset in Wyoming as a backdrop speaks for itself. In fact, I didn't need to say anything. My sister-in-law on the other hand screamed out: "Don't move, I'm getting my camera!" I didn't realize how amazing the entire scene looked from the on-looker perspective. I'm quite thankful to her for capturing such a unique photo moment.

I got the red one because I think it looks the best. My wife generally prefers blue, and i was prepared to cave on this. But the Blue they chose for the Prime is a horrible blue.

With all respect to MNdriver, I would check out that Titanium Glow before buying it. I find it weird. Kind of like Shark's Skin fabric.

My second choice was the white, but it also costs extra and that pearlescent finish gets lost pretty easily once it gets dirty.

Have you actually seen it in person?

My wife and I continue to be amazed how often random people just walking by the house or while plugging in make an unsolicited comment about how great the color looks.

I dislike all of the colors. I bought the next one off the boat to the dealer I'd been working with which happened to be white. Non-professional photos in google images match the color pretty well.

    Your car matches your shirt!!!

I almost bought the blue, but they didn't have one available in the grade i wanted. They also had a white one, which i immediately said no too. He said check out the Titanium Glow, went out to the lot and Voila! I bought it on the spot. My last Prius was Silver which i liked, but didn't want another one the same color.

I wanted to be seen and the Blue Magnetism is definitely bright.

Also, I had to have the black interior. That white interior is horrible. It looks like Woody Allen's kitchen in "Sleeper".

I love the silver. For me, it was a choice between Silver or Titanium, but wanted the two-tone Moonstone Interior (not solid black inside) and unless you special order, it's close to impossible to find Titanium exterior with Moonstone Interior inside on a dealer lot -- but there are lots of Silver outside and Moonstone Inside, so I snatched that one up. Just to me, the white, blue and red colors are too stark on this car, I like the more subdued colors, and didn't want an all-black interior (check out the Moonstone two-tone interior)

I got Blizzard Pearl, just liked it better. My daughter bought silver which is nice but I already had two silver cars so wanted something different.

Mine due in at Foothills Toyota in Burlington, WA this week is red with black interior. I currently have a red Prius C and find that it is more noticeable on the road than most other colors. Here in the Pacific NW we do have fog and the silver or white ones blend in too much. The cars are now available in Washington State but I don't think any dealers have them in stock. My dealer said Toyota isn't providing any so the dealerships have to buy their own in order to have them on the lot and I guess those would also be 2 to 3 months out. Mine was ordered March 6th and is supposed to be to me this week so almost three months.

Red and blue are too outstanding colors for me. White costs extra. It came down to Silver, Titanium and Dark Grey. I prefer to have lighter color for So Cal's sun. You can't barely find a Titanium Premium trim in So Cal. So Silver it is.

I used to have a red toyota pick up and I got a lot of tickets in it.
One time I got two in one weekend, one for stopping in a red zone at the beach and another for speeding, again at the beach.
My wife says red cars get more tickets, but I think the chances of getting a ticket in a prime are extremely low whatever the color.

If you follow Eco curve to drive your Prime. I am so sure you won't get a ticket. Parking ticket that's different. I want to blend in so I prefer most popular dirty proof color. My wife has a Silver RX 350, 2002 Civic we just sold also was silver.

I also went with silver, for lighter color and, as you say dirty proof. I sold a 2012 silver v to buy the Prime. In the winter here there is no dirty proof color with the road salt but I think the silver weathers it the best. My second choice would have the Blue Magnetism.

Just happened again at work. A guy saw my car for the first time and said it was the prettiest color he'd ever seen (blue).

IMG_0672.JPG Here's my Titanium Glow, aka snake skin. I just got the windows tinted - 50% ceramic, so fairly subtle.
