Is the Gen 4 Prius a masculine or feminine looking car?

Years ago (gen 2) I noticed that the Prius is a vehicle that has all of the testosterone designed out it. Purely functional, and I'm good with that. Don't need a big bad nice person noise making distraction to prove my masculinity. My Prius is androgenious!

 

I'm a long time civic fan, but from these pictures clearly Toyota has the better engineers.

I vote for BI! It is male when someone acts up and makes me scream at other drivers. It is female when things are going well...my honey. Can change by the minute. Still searching for a name as it takes a while for his/her true personality to emerge. While it may look inanimate, it is anything but. And you have to admit that most of us have "affairs" with our favorite wheels! (It is so entertaining to watch how Californians treat their cars as I almost get run over by the high enders flying by me to the left at 90mph in Ferraris and trying to make the next 25 mph exit on the right four lanes over without killing everyone! Glad that my Sweetie Four is safe at home in the garage on the Other Coast. And the number of Prii in CA is staggering, which is... wonderful!)

 

Reading some of the other responses, I've decided to change my vote to "other". IOW it is whatever I need it to be at the time! I hope this is more enlightening!

 

I had a guy tell me my Prius looked cute. I punched him in the head, knocked him down, kicked him in the stomach and then inquired if it was still cute from that angle. He said it was handsome after all. It was a good discussion.

Absolutely. Don't ever ask us engineers to design for curb appeal, many of us are borderline autistic. Good looks require people with greater artistic talent, and they are more likely to be found over in the industrial design department.
