The building itself does still exist, though it is a lame entertainment complex of some sort now. A sad retirement for a building with such a glorious history... Montreal Forum Oh yeah, and I'm 29, though I was 28 when I bought my Prius 4 days before my birthday in April. Call it an early me-to-me birthday gift. And here I thought I was one of the 'younger' owners around here, I now feel 'old' based on the majority of the feedback so far... <_< - Kevin
Looks like I win all the marbles! 80 this August. And I was here for everything everybody mentioned...and then some!

35. Happily. And what's so cool is that I'll be 35 again in 8 years. (When I'm supposed to turn 40, I'm gonna start counting backwards. By the time I'm 77, I'll be a toddler again!)
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(genalex @ Jun 27 2006, 02:41 AM) </div> Hey, put that birthday out there. We will all celebrate with you. Reminds me of my Mom. At 84, she told us she wanted to learn how to use a computer. The grandkids got together and gave her a laptop. Three months later, she called to tell me-This lap top is "not adequate". She wanted a desk top, with speakers and a printer. OK. But I warned her that would be her Christmas, Birthday and Mothers Day presents. Since then she uses it daily for e-mail, research and to handle her finances. She is now 89 years old and still drives her Chevrolet Celebrity to the market. May God bless her.

I am so old that when I was young we did not have dirt. It was not invented yet. Can you imagine a boy with no dirt, no mud. It was a sad time.

I worked with seniors' programs for years and am convinced that nothing can be as gratifying for a person to know how to use as they age as the internet. Love to your mom, Lola! hdrygas: it hurt the knees to kneel on all those stones, didn't it?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Sarge @ Jun 26 2006, 08:31 PM) </div> Yeah, well, that's what I meant...I went to Westmount High, less than 1/2 a mile from the forum. What good are the cool escalators that look like hockey sticks without the hockey! And I'm talkin' when the Habs WERE the Habs...KEN DRYDEN IS GOD! <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(ghostofjk @ Jun 27 2006, 11:36 PM) </div> OTOH, there are those of us with parents who use their computers to do not a lot else other than broadcast really bad jokes, so we are thinking of taking mom's away from her, or at least restricting her email privileges (and she is 71, next week, and has NEVER driven ANYTHING other than all of us around the twist...)
Bought my '04 when I was 21 and now I'm 22. I think there are more young people on Priuschat because of the idea that more young people use computers than "experienced" people. I'd bet $100 that if we took a poll of ALL prius drivers that there would be quite a few more "experienced" ones.
Depends....do you want to know how old I am today, or tomorrow? 23 today. 24 tomorrow. And my Prius turned 4 months yesterday.
