Finally got around to restoring my headlights on my 2007 Prius

I spent about 5 minutes wet sanding with 1000 grit and then used a buffer with multiple waxes and sealants.

Next stop is the hood. Does anyone else have a rediculously horrible hood with specs of paint missing? My care came like this so I am going to take it off and sand and repaint it with factory paint.

 

I'll be honest, I have a box of like 25 waxes and polishes. I grabbed a couple and we t at it. But one I did use and would recommend was Maguire's car polish for plastic that says on the front of the bottle that it works great for headlights.
