You will not be able to have both phones, simultaneously accessible via Bluetooth. On my Advanced, I can MENU, from button on right of big screen, then Settings on the green bar, then select Connect Phone which allows for recognizing/registering more than 1 phone on the car; you're just not able to have both simultaneously monitored through the car's audio.

Valid point! I presume that Teslas and other cars with driver profiles include phone info.

I think the car will allow you to set up / pair multiple devices but will only connect to one at a time. Whichever is in range first should connect. So if you have the car and she the next day it will connect to whomever has their device in the car. This is how it works in my PiP.

FYI Bluetooth 5 can connect to multiple devices but the car and the devices would all have to have Bluetooth 5. So maybe Prime II or would it be Prime 2?

Ohh yeah then it's troublesome with the Gen 3 (a colleague posed the same question when he got his a few months after I got mine). There is a voice command for "change phone" or "select telephone".

It's a touch easier on the Gen 4. I believe it just finds the next BT phone and if more than one is available, it picks the last one that was connected. I've gotten into the Gen 4 with my phone paired for BT handsfree even though it's not my primary car.

The problem that we have is that if one person uses the car one day and the car connects to their phone, and the next day the other person uses the car, the car will connect to the first person's phone if it happens to be within Bluetooth range, which is usually the case in our home. When you drive off, the car loses the connection to the first person's phone, but never tries to connect to the driver's phone.

My samsung is completely adaptable to the Prius. My google play goes live on the OEM screen. I can prompt thru my songs using my steering wheel. I can leave my car with my phone on my body, come back to my car and the OEM system starts the song where I left off. I can use the phone while driving. If I get a call while listening to google play, the music stops, I talk, finish the call and hang up and the music resumes like nothing happened. I think Toyota and Samsung have worked something out so compatability is not an issue.

Odd that's how my iPhone 6+ works as well. I'll be listening to a podcast, and when I get in my car the Bluetooth will automatically pick up the podcast, and my Bluetooth will automatically attach to my OBD II adapter for EngineLink. When I take my phone with me into a store and come back the Podcast will pick back up where it left off and the OBD II will reconnect as well. When I get a call or a text message the podcast stops and either reads the message or the call. When done the podcast resumes all while still getting data from the OBD II adapter. Yes I can use the steering controls as well. Sorry, but not seeing the problem here.
