I happened to be going into one of the local Toyota dealers today and spied this Prime advanced on the showroom floor. I have been waiting for one to show up in town. Really nice looking car with some great features. I have a 2015 Gen 3, but this is soooooo tempting! I managed to walk out of the dealership without trying to buy it, but may go back! Pl
I was considering that color but could never see it in person, so I went with blizzard pearl which I am liking. It lets me know when ever there is a spec of dirt on the car.
Well due to a mixup in models the one they held was the Premium Model, by the time I got back after a test drive the Advanced was being test driven by another gentleman, who ended up buying it. I ended up with the Titanium Glow.
Do you like the color? I'm getting my own TG this week. I find myself looking at other cars on my way to work and wondering how it will compare to some of the other nondescript creamish metalish colors out there.
Very happy with it. Got the gf seal of approval too. Kind of chameleon like changes based on sun or shade.
Good to hear that many people seem to like the Blue Magnetism color quite a lot... that's what we've special ordered (Premium with Moonstone SofTex) MOSTLY because I absolutely DESPISE the all-black interior, do not at ALL like red for a car, and from the colors that remained the blue seemed to work best with the moonstone. Here's to hoping you're VERY happy with the Prime (Premium or Advanced?) Titanium Glow....
I went and test drove this Prime Advanced yesterday. Beautiful car! I found the huge display screen to be a bit distracting, but sure I'd get accustomed to it. Heads up display captures your attention and it displays current vehicle speed and the speed limit. Was disappointed that the sun visors are still small and still do not extend. Car rides very smoothly and is relatively quiet. JBL audio sounded nice and I like the LED headlights. Dealer added charges on window sticker for "paint protection " at $1300...total rip off in my opinion. Price came to a little over $36K with their add ons. Just a bit too much for me right now, although I do really like the car.
I really like mine. First time I've had a white car and never really liked the blizzard pearl, but somehow I like this version of that paint. I thought that I would like the large screen on the advanced but it was too distracting for me so I went with the base "plus" model. I am surprised that they have not moved the drive type buttons to the steering wheel. It would be great to have those at my finger tips like a paddle shifter to change from economy to normal or "warp drive". I say go for it!
There's no need at all to have drive modes on the wheel, because all of them have the same end point. 0-60 runs in ECO are the same as 0-60 runs in Power because flooring the pedal is the same in all the modes. Just pick the mapping you prefer and stick with it. I thought I'd like Normal but it's a little touchy at low power levels so it turns out I like Eco.
