Well I took out a turkey last week and in return it took out my driver turn signal so I saw that as a great excuse to upgrade to these LED DRLs from the halogen style. Did some searching around and I found some great info for the install from The Masta so thanks in advance to that.

Full day of detailing ...another 8 hours to go... if it rains I won't take prii

Clear coat them for some UV protection or else in a few months they'll oxidate again

wife bought me an early 30th Birthday gift brought it to work to read the instructions because I'm a nerd. I think the honesty of my mod-spending with wife made her more appreciative. thanks to @ncases and @Gaspeed for teaching me that.


I then installed it during my lunch break, LOL. (ignore the color scheme... the green was from 2 yrs ago, hence avatar. and the pink/teal was from last summer. might be going purple or red)

If any of you guys at Toyota fest want to ask around....I'm dying to get my hands on a G's bumper in blizzard pearl!

 

Restored the headlights on my 2010 Prius with one of those cheap Turtle Wax headlight restoration kits from Walmart. I was always skeptical of these kits but had never actually tried one, so I picked one up today since it was so cheap (less than $10). The kit requires a lot of patience due to the amount of buffing/sanding that needs to be done, and the sanding pads that were provided were annoyingly small. However, much to my surprise, the kit worked so well that my headlights look brand new! It also worked on the Toyota emblem on the front of my car, which had also started to look worn down lately. Not bad for $10 and an hour of tinkering on a Sunday afternoon!

 

The 2010 got an additional facelift today with a new set of DLR's. Install was pretty simple and just did a tap a fuse for a 12v ignition source so they are on anytime the car is "Ready".
