Hello! This past week I ordered a Prime Advanced in titanium glow with the black interior. The dealer estimates I can expect the car in mid to late June. I'm currently deciding which accessories to purchase and have thus far chosen the carpeted floor mat package and the body side moldings. Does anyone have experience with paint protection film? I searched the forum but most of the threads I found are fairly old. What parts, exactly, does it cover? Has anyone experienced issues with it yellowing over time? Thank you!
Black interior with titanium paint sounds like a great combination. Sorry, no experience personally with protection film, but I think I recall another discussion here where the overall impression was "no, thanks."
I have a Lexus CT and it came with the full paint protection film and my car is 3 years old and looks brand new. I bought my 2017 three weeks ago and got the $800 paint protection film. Congrats...you will love the car. I passed on the side molding. Did not like they way it made the car look. Tinting your windows will also give you a great look with your combination of color. I did get undercoating for rust/salt protection.
had paint protection added to my 2013 pip after i got it. was not yellow and stoped so nasty rock hits from hurting paint. Got my new titanium prius prime advanced monday and ordered the paint protection Tuesday for installation on Friday. My 2013 looked good. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
I suggest to tint your front and back windows first, will reduce your skin burning and reduce heat in the interior. If your state allows, input clear tint film, this not only reduce interior heat, but will help reduce glare and reflection.
