Already driving mine for a few weeks now in the Netherlands :), very pleased with it!! My previous model had a range of about 16km in the summer without heating and with the PHV it's around 45km depending on road type and driving. Also pre-conditioning with the remote works very nice. The charge start timer is unusable, when you set it to start at 21:00 and you plug-in at 22:00 it want to start charging the next day at 21:00, and that is not what I want!!!!!

Use the 'Charge Now' option if there is a charge schedule registered and you want to override it (it's a 'one time override').

Yes I know about that option, but you easily forget it. Also when you do net set a schedule for Saturday and Sunday and you plug-in on Saturday it will start charging on Monday 21:00. We checked the power tariffs and the difference is so small that we accept the small extra costs. The way it used to work on the previous Plug-in was better. When you want to use the timer press the button and it's ok. If you forget it, it will just start charging. But with the charge now option it needs much more button presses etc. and when you forget it your battery is not charged at that is NOT what you want!!

If you forget it, then when inserting the connector to the inlet the charge indicator there will be blinking for awhile to remind you, just disconnect and reconnect it for immediate charging.

There it's also the departure time charge setting. I use this without any issue or problem whatever.

    Yes.
I was answering WimN who specifically complained on start time setting.

When you use departure time, it will work ok. Thanks for the input.

Sorry, but "gobble, gobble, gobble"! That guy was a turkey!! He must have a Ford or Chevy at home. He fixated on everything he didn't like, while exaggerating anything he didn't like. I wouldn't buy the car if he were my sole source of information. Now on the other hand, that French guy's video that you put up was quite complimentary and balanced. Thank goodness I understand Frogtalk, so I was able to listen to the French version! Of course, it's like they say, "Opinions are like..., everyone's got one! Har, har

Well one is a younger person (so it's a perspective of that age group. I mean he likes the Prius. Check out his Gen 4 review).

The French one is a moderator or admin of a hybrid forum (hybridlife)

He did favorably mention the G4, but for some reason (I felt, quite unreasonable !) had something stuck in his craw about the Prime. He whined and sniveled about all the beeps, and nearly broke down sobbing (slight exaggeration here, but he did tick me off) about the back up beeping! Hey you dumb sap, if you had done your research like any balanced and intelligent reviewer, you'd find out that the dealer can eliminate that annoyance. My 2012 PIP had that problem and the dealer was glad to handle it. I think the guy is one of those glass half-empty (like his head) people.
Hey, but I REALLY don't have an opinion here!! Can you tell? I REALLY like this car! And that little French guy was cool! Vive la Prime. Vive la France!!
