figured I'd make a build thread for my prius C, which has no name at the moment! trying to keep the mods simple since the car is a daily and i'd rather not make it an inconvenience or a money pit i work as a vinyl graphics installer so you'd expect me to wrap the car probably multiple times over its lifetime, so maybe this thread will serve to introduce new colors over the years. i'm also a wheel wh0re, or was with my previous cars, but i'll try to resist with this one! (4x100s are harder to flip these days...) feel free to comment and flame, i'm no stranger to public online forums current mods list lighting: the typical led's and HIDs (5k color range) blacked out headlights tinted red taillights LED blinkers front/rear (red in rear) interior: carbon shift knob (from my old s2k keke) convertible baby car seat exterior: 3M gloss black roof Avery brilliant blue matte metallic vinyl rear wiper delete debadged sides/rear rolled/pulled front fenders running gear: Tein street basis coilovers Wedssport SA-15R, 16x6.5 +25 (23mm spacers) Dunlop LM704 195/55r16 immediate plans: remove front sway bar stay tuned for updates
Colors look fantastic. I've been thinking about a 2-tone color scheme myself. Also, please post more pics from other angles!
funny, couldn't find a pic of me first getting the car... o well, you all know what a stock magnetic grey 2012 looks like... first set of wheels: ATS DTC superlights in 17x7.5 +20 with 205/45/17 didn't like the 4-7 mpg hit, never thought i'd say 205 is too much tire for anything, but apparently so for the C current set of wheels: Wedssport SA-15R in 16x6.5 +48 with 195/55/16. wheels are now spaced out to an effective offset of +25, tho no pics of that yet like the height there, but had to raise the car at my wife's behest =\ maybe i'll look for different coils in the future... ride quality all the way down on tein street basis is abysmal... car after most of the wrap, had to deal with a friend's passing in the middle of wrapping the car so not very happy with how it came out... o well, it'll be redone in the future im sure. still havent wrapped the inner grill area, and a few other places, but it'll have to do for now until i find some more time
