BLUETOOTH OFF , Unable to turn on???HELP

    For some reason recently, I noticed my bluetooth was not connecting, when i went to troubleshoot it, I realized some how the Bluetooth was OFF, mind you, i never turned it off. Now when I click on Bluetooth OFF to turn it back on, nothing happens and i don't have access to some of there other bluetooth features without it being turned on. I tried everything to get it to turn on, has anyone else had this problem. Im very familiar with paring and bluetooth in general and have been using it on my 2012 prius c 3 since i purchased the car new. I even went as far as disconnecting the negative battery terminal to see if that would reset it, but it didn't, any help would be greatly appreciated

    Electronic components do break down of their own accord. You may need a repair of the console to some minor degree.

    Interesting. I came here to search as I just took my car in for 50k oil/tire rotate and found I am having the same issue. Did you take your car in recently. Think they would do a flash of some sort to fix things like recalls?

    I had the same issue. Bluetooth just turned off one day and wouldn't let me turn it back on.

    I updated the Entune on my 2012 Prius 3 to version 5.2.0 and that fixed it.

    Download the update to a usb stick and plug it in.

    Thought i would share my Fix, Had the same problem, any time a 12v battery is replaced, your phone needs Bt reset too.

    2015 prius two, 57031 stereo, BC no Nav, no en-tune software upgrade available from Toyota web site for the 57031.

    Settings, Bluetooth, Detailed Bluetooth settings, (greyed out) Bluetooth power OFF.

    Turned out to be my iphone x Bt settings click on “Car Multimedia” then tap forget this device, now go to add device, on the stereo and “Car Multimedia” will show back up on your phone, click on it,

    Sometimes electronic components dont fail, most of the time, its user error.
