    I grew up in Sellersville, and am familiar with the area, and now in Palm, PA., which is also as bad.

    One has to constantly be on guard - expecting a deer to jump out at any moment.

    A friend of mine has 13 deer strikes so far... and counting.


    To the O.P.: Glad your father is alright. Hope your insurance gets you squared away satisfactorily and quickly.

    In some cases a person isn't even safe outside their car.
