Hello All! New owner of a 2010 Prius V not Five because only 2010 used uppercase roman numerals for model designation, and it is an excellent vehicle! I was hoping for some help on this issue: I know about the need for resetting the power windows after a battery reset. I have one window, the rear passenger side door, that does not work from the master switch. It does work at the door itself, but the green LED is NOT illuminated, or blinking. When I try to roll the window down on the first press, there is no response, but the LED illuminates solid. At the second press, the window works. When I attempt the reset procedure on the window (press and hold the one touch down after the window closes, then repeat the procedure going up. However, when I do this, the instructions say that the light will be blinking, and you should hold it until it is solid. Mine is solid when I am holding the switch, then after about 10 seconds, the light goes out and does not illuminate again. Has anyone seen that behavior? I have been searching the forum for a few days with no luck, hence I am asking you good folks. Thanks in advance!
On the switch that is working, try holding the button all the way while rolling down........then reverse and hold the button all the way going up and hold for additional 5 seconds. After that go and try the master button on the driver's side.
Hello All! So found the issue. The door connector was loose. I had to pull off the interior panel between the doors, then pull the connector. After re-seating the connector, the window worked from the master switch. If the whole window reset procedure doesn't work for anyone, this may be the answer that you are looking for.
Hopefully you still lurk here. Can you expand on what connector it was? Harness to switch? Harness to motor? Harness to...?? I'm having the same problem. I have done everything I can so far.
Entire door plug. On the B-Pillar. The plug was disconnected. Removed both plugs from the B-Pillar, connected together outside of the door and everything was working perfectly.
I had the same problem as the OP, but mine was the drivers side rear window. I lowered that window, raised it, and held the switch up for 10 seconds. Fixed!
