I was able to bypass the lock out on the GPS system on my 2004 and 2010 (with a kit). Is there either a work around or a kit that would enable my wife to program the GPS or use the phone for the 2016 while I am driving?
would you please elaborate on that. Is it an add on and if so, where would I find out about it please?
It is a switch. Beat-Sonic installed one in my car. I had it placed by the seat warmer switch on the bulkhead in front of the center console.

Its about 230 on ebay but apparently unless you have the JBL system the display is a bit fuzzy. I also am having video delay so the audio is lagging. Not sure it was worth the cost. I am hoping that the unit from Prestigious Society will work on my 2017. I had it on my 2015 Camry Hybrid. Love the activation (radio vol on steering wheel down, down to activate, then up, up to cancel).
