In Holland you can have a low and high tariff for electricity. The low tariff starts at 21:00 during working days and the weekend is always low tariff. So I put in a schedule for Monday - friday to start charging at 21:00. That works. But when I plug in on Saturday it will start charging at Monday 21:00 and that is not what I want. So I put in a schedule for Saturday and Sunday to start charging at 0:00 (also tried 0:05) but then it will start charging Sunday 0:05 when I plug in on Saturday. You might expect that charging will always begin when you plug in after the charge start time, but that does not seems to be the case. Does anybody know how to solve this so that it will always start charging on Saturday and Sunday? Maybe the system on the PiP was easier: always charge immediately or you have to press the delay start button.
The only way I know of is to set it to "charge now" when you get out of the car on the weekend, or do the shortcut of plugging and unplugging the cable once.
Ok, I know about the 'charge now' but you easily forget that. The PHV seems not to have the plug/unplug shortcut, at least it's not documented.
Owner's manual, page 173: If the charging cable is removed and reinserted while the charging indicator is flashing, the charging timer is canceled (→P. 139).
Did some more searching and I found it on page 155 in the Dutch version: But it would be better if you could switch off the agenda for days that you do not want to use it. Thanks.
