Canada - 2014 Gen III Backup Camera - No lines?

    My friend has a Gen III 2014 Prius, his backup camera only shows the picture doesn't have the lines. Is this morning? Is it an option to turn this off? I own a 2011 Gen III and I have the lines.

    Funny, I own a 2011 Gen III model 3 and I do have lines, my backup camera is in the backup mirror.

    Pearl S (2012) has no lines. This has been discussed before. I don't think there is any way to turn the lines on and off.

    I have a 2010 and no backup lines in the camera (Tech package... so camera is in 7" display, not rearview mirror).

    Are you sure about the lines? I don't recall seeing the lines in the mirror when I test drove a Touring package. (unless there's a difference between 2010 and 2011)

    I have a Gen III 2011 model III. in the mirror, I have the lines. I know in 2012 your backup camera was in the middle of the dash where mine is in the rearview mirror.

    never heard of a prius with the back up lines. maybe yours snuck out of the factory unnoticed.:cool:

    I had a rental Prius in Norway. A 2014, same year as I have here in the States. It had directional lines on the backup camera. I was told that they were not programmed into US bound computers. Do Canadian Prius' have directional lines?

    In Canada My 2011 does, but a friend of mine has a 2014 and his doesn't.
