Hello everyone, Im would like to change the wheels on my prius v (7 seater) which is arriving next week, but i cant find any info on the web. Anyone got any idea what is my original wheel size ? bolt pattern i believe is 5x114.3 but the width? offset? and is the original wheel 16inch? Thank you very much in advance Angus
Original wheels are 16" diameter, 6.5" wide. I believe the offset is 39mm but I am not 100% sure about this. I will probably change the stock wheels on my v too. Once I take them off I can confirm offset and weight if anyone is interested.
From the manual: From the web: Looks like bolt pattern is indeed 5 x 114.3 Offset: 39-45mm The ones in your photo are the original wheels that came with the car. They are 16" alloy wheels with aerodynamic plastic wheel covers (yeah so there are alloys underneath those covers on your car). As stated in the attachment, they're 205/60R16 tyres.
The stock wheels for the Prius v (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon. only the 2010 prius used uppercase roman numerals for model designation......) pictured above weigh 8.5 kg each. Just checked then on my bathroom scales. If you include the weight of the plastic hubcap, each wheel will be close to 9 kg. Offset of stock wheels is +39mm - it's stamped on the back of the wheel. Here are my new set of Nissan wheels (not exactly new - over 10 years old really but they scrubbed up ok). My only complaint is that they weigh a fraction more than the stock wheels. I can really tell any difference when driving.
Nice car! I changed my wheels on my 08 and love it! Les Schwab would be ideal for your new project, they knew exactly what Prius cars need for optimal performance and fuel mileage! Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
