When you are viewing the EV MONITOR screen on the multi-information display, you would see a BLUE bar that changes dynamically. That bar is from PED, showing you how much power you should expect to use on the road that you often drive on based on your driving history. It helps guide you in terms of how efficient you can be. If you turn on the PED display on the NAV settings for the 11.6in screen, you will see a lot of green leaves or trees on the map. That is based on your driving history of all the places you have often driven to and needed to slow down or stopped.
so far I haven't seen the green leaves on my display. I have tried and failed to turn on the PED display, so could you, Optimus PRIME guide me there?
Ok thank you . I can't remember Toyota mentioning that feature for the European version . They did rmention that power-mode adapts to the drivers driving habits.
Prime drivers will eventually notice the car slowing down noticeably more by itself at stop signs or intersections they commonly travel. The navigation remembers the location where the car always decelerates or stops. Then uses the registered points to increase the engine breaking sending more juice back to the battery - Predictive Efficient Drive - Pretty Cool!
It may or may not be available in Europe. In the North American Prime owner's manual, it appears Canada will not be getting PED.
