How well does that ESTIMATE value translate to ACTUAL electric-only travel?

btw, what is the average temperature where you are?

It's pretty much on the money; I use Odo B reset every time I head out. I'm in Anaheim California area, where current ambient temperature is 65 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Freeway driving reduces electric only range but surface street driving raises it, with net result for my driving being what is shown at beginning. Remember the value showing on the screen of the charge indicator is rounded either up or down. I have seen a lot of 35.9 as well as several 36.3. These all round off to 36.
I don't gun the car but I do keep up with traffic.

The mileage depends on everything. Heat or AC, seat & steering wheel heaters, stops & goes, speed on the road, hills, etc. I figure 20 miles on electric power and feel good if I get 25 miles.

Picked up a new prime premium 850 miles away, arrived home late sat night. Fully charged Sun, and today, Mon, tested electric range. Drove to another town, fairly level roads 35 degrees outside. Town is about 28 miles away at about 80% at 55 mph, made 2 stops at stores before engine started at 32.6 miles on battery only. Drove home on hybrid eco and it was at 60.5 mpg when I arrived. We did not run the heater when on electric, and I did baby the pedal. We traded in a 2010 Prius, so we do know how to drive for good mileage. Love the car!

My goal is to see 18-25 on EV without sacrificing anything i would do in gas power car....so this range make more than 90% of my driving with occasional chargepoint stops.....

How does the car communicate the data to the phone to provide the app data? Does it have to be connected to Wi-Fi to work or does it send data via the cell network?

Any thoughts on whether there's a way for me to get the use of this app even though Google Play store says app "is not available in your country"? Seems we don't get this functionality in Europe!

The media apps in the car use Bluetooth to talk to the app on the phone. It can also use USB, I believe. The Advanced has a built-in cell phone, but that only uses low speed cellular data for the Advanced applications (Vehicle Location, Charge Management, Remote Climate Control), as well as for the Safety Connect emergency response.

We just picked up our Prime Advanced on Friday but after reaching a full charge on two occasions, the trip meter only shows 21.9 miles of EV driving available so what is going on?

Merged. begin to use multi quote and don't posts back to back and in some cases back to back to back to back to back.

And I keep 40 PSI front 39 PSI rear tires....and didn't experience anything different with ride stiffness....

The car estimates the EV range in miles based upon past driving driving rate of kWh per mile and the traction battery capacity. As you drive the car, the saved values will become more accurate. The same happens with our BMW i3-REx which uses a more recent rate.
